Procedure: 1. Make sure your four plants are all healthy. 2. Plant A is placed in a clear plastic bag with a twist-tie (make sure there is sunlight, soil, and that it is watered.) 3. Plant B is placed in a dark place, still receiving air, water, and soil. 4. Plant C is placed in a sunny area with NO water, but still soil and air. 5. Plant D is placed in a sunny area and watered properly (when soil is feeling dry) and has air, soil, and sunlight. 6. Compare the growth of all plants, the first day, the fifth day, the tenth day and the 15th. Write your observations and draw a picture of the results on each of these days. 7. Give a number between 0 and 10 for each plant on each day. 0 would describe a dead plant and 10 would describe a perfect plant. So 8 would describe a plant that looks ok but is not perfect, and 1 would describe a plant that is close to being dead.
